Title: Moisture in pulp, paper and paperboard
Overview
This method determines the amount of moisture in pulp, paper and paperboard.
Samples
To complete the required testing, 10 grams of sample is requested. If more testing is required, five to ten, 8.5” x 11” sheets are requested. Generally, IPS tests the samples after they have been allowed to condition under TAPPI conditions of 50% RH. If moisture is required on the samples as received, they should be packaged in a system as air tight as possible and clearly labeled on the outside of the package.
